The South QLD 10R Championship - 17th July
Sailed on Saturday 17th June at Emerald Lakes on the Gold Coast. Paradise Radio Yacht Club was the host club. Conditions ranged from light and variable breezes in the morning to a 10 to 12 k SE wind in the afternoon.
Handicap Races Winter Series Round 3 - 18th July 2010
Fifteen skippers enjoyed a sunny morning with 3 to 5 knots of southerly turning to the east. Lots of public spectators stopped to watch and enquire about our sport. Jack Ford and Mark Colbourne had three wins each,
MRYS Inc Sail Day at Newport - 11th July
Good Racing today with reduced numbers.
In the Micros great and difficult sailing in very light conditions. Paul Chisholm won the day but racing was close
In the IOM Scratch day John McLachlan was on fire with 5 wins out of 10 races sailed
Winter Scratch Series RD3, Carbrook - 4th July 2010
Round 3 of the Winter Series Scratch Races had fifteen skippers arrive at Carbrook to face a reasonable westerly breeze of 5 to 7 knots which gradually eased and went to a southerly. Ian Ashe had a winch mishap so kindly offered to be PRO for the morning.
