WMRMYC Inc Commodores Cup 2008-09

The Commodores Cup is a perpetual trophy which was donated to the Wynnum Manly Radio Model Yacht Club Inc in 2008, by Commodore John McLachlan, to recognize the member skipper with the best overall handicap score each year.
The scoring is taken from : The lowest gross handicap score (with no race day disgards) for the 6 Winter Handicap series and the 6 Summer Handicap series of each sailing calendar year.
Then an allowance is made of one disgard from the Winter series and one disgard from the Summer series.
These two disgards were to enable more skippers to be competitive by allowing them to miss one race day from each series.
This year is the inaugural year, 2009, and the results are
Third Place with 577.94 points is Andrew Milne
Second Place with 566.15 points is Allen Penman
and in First Place with 542.1 points is John McLachlan
Congratulations and well done to all participants
