The Sailing Instructions shall prevail in the event of conflict with this Notice of Race.

6. REGISTRATION

7. EVENT CATEGORY AND ADVERTISING

The Championships are classified under the ISAF Advertising Code Regulation 20.3.1 (b) as Category C.

The Organisers reserve the right to advertising according to Regulation 20.3

8. SCORING AND RACING SYSTEM

The current Heat Management System (HMS) as approved by the ISAF-RSD will be used. In general where there are less than 16 competitors, the event will be sailed in one fleet

9. MEASUREMENT

The Race Committee may direct that all boats entered in the event be check-measured or alternatively randomly select a number of boats for check measurement.

Random spot checks may be conducted throughout the duration of the event.

10. FREQUENCIES

Each competitor is required to nominate a minimum of three (3) frequencies with their entry. The listing of additional frequencies if available would be helpful. Permitted frequency bands are 27, 29, 36, 40 Mhz and 2.4 Ghz.

11. PROTESTS

A  Committee will be appointed to hear any protests arising from the event and may comprise competitors not involved in the incident.  RRS 61.2 and 62.2 may be replaced by a verbal notification and hearing if all parties affected by the incident agree.

12. ENTRIES

Entries must be made online at http://www.rcyachts.net

Entries will not be accepted from members who are un-financial at the close of entries.

The entry fee of $ 25.00 must accompany the entry form to secure your frequency.  Cheques to be made payable to Moreton Radio Yacht Squadron Inc and marked “Not Negotiable”.  Please do not send cash.

A farmers market operates at the lake on the day of the event and a light brunch and refreshments will be available for purchase at the market. This is not included in the entry fee, but discussions with the market management indicate that this may be at a subsidised price for competitors.

The event should attract quite a lot of public interest by market customers and give us an opportunity to showcase the class.

ENTRIES CLOSE on 15th September 2010

Late entries may with the agreement of the race committee be accepted until 18th September 2010 on payment of an additional fee of $10.00
